Teaser Tuesday (14)

Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB over at Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along. Just do the following:

-Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
-BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
-Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Teaser:

"And even though Roger couldn't see me and I him, I was suddenly glad for the darkness in the car.  It made it easier to pretend that he couldn't see that I was trying hard not to cry, that my chin had apparently taken on a life of its own, and I no longer had any control over it."

-pg. 187, Amy & Roger's Epic Detour by Morgan Matson

Oh goodness, I'm loving this book SO much. I'm trying to space it out, to make it last longer. Review to come soon :)

Gah! This sounds just like my kind of book. I know what you mean exactly when you say that you're trying to space out a book to make it last longer. I do that with all of Sarah Dessen's novels haha. This seriously sounds brilliant.
