Teaser Tuesday is hosted by MizB over at Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along. Just do the following:
-Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page.
-BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
-Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Teaser:
"He says my name and his voice his so hoarse and hypnotic it pulls me up onto my feet, pulls me across miles of shame and guilt. I don't want to go to him, but I do want to too. "
-Pg.36,The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
"I almost expect the trees to lower their branches when we pass, the stars to hand down some light. I breathe in the horsey scent of eucalyptus, the thick sugary pine, aware of each breath I take, how each one keeps me in the world longer. "
pg. 76, The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson
Sorry, I definitely cheated this time! I even wanted to post a third teaser. The whole book was filled with amazing lines to choose from. I'm not even half way done yet, I'm trying to ration it out, so it won't end. <3
